• Use T-5 tubelights (28 W) in place of T8/T12 tubelights (40W -52 W).
• Use fixtures with batwing louvers for glare control.
• Use electronic ballast in place of electromagnetic ballast.
• Use sensors and dimmers for intelligent lighting.
• For campus lighting, use smart lighting systems.
Renewable Energy Technologies
Recommendations
• Use Solar Water Heating Systems if hot water is required in the building.
• Use building integrated Photovoltaics(BIPV) for low energy requirements
of the building
• For heating an d cooling of the building, Earth Air Tunnels should be
used.
• For waste water recycling, biological recycling should be used. The waste
water then can be used for watering the lawns and plants
